Salsal Waterlines
Wusab Rising
Art . Socail service
In Wusab as Safil, Dhamar — one of the most water-scarce regions in Yemen — families walk hours each day for a single bucket of water.
Salsal for Wusab is our response: a community-led project to provide clean, safe, and sustainable water to over 10,000 people through solar-powered wells and basic infrastructure.
“Because water shouldn’t be a privilege – it’s a human right.”
Vision
We envision a Wusab where
- Girls go to school instead of fetching water
- Farmers irrigate with confidence
- Clinics offer care without water shortages
- Communities manage their own resources
We believe in solutions that are local, durable, and powered by the sun — not by fossil fuel.

What We’re Building
We’re starting with two deep solar wells, designed to serve 10,000–12,000 people.
- Each well includes:
- Solar-powered pumping system (off-grid)
- Deep borehole to clean aquifers
- Storage tank (10,000L)
- Public tap stations
- Pipes to nearby schools or clinics
- Local water committees to manage and maintain it
